A teenage boy dressed in uniform lost his life after a passenger bus ran over him at Patel Para area of metropolis here on Friday. The deceased was identified as Ghulamullah, a student who boarded on the bus from Lasbela and fell from it due to negligence of the driver who lost the control of bus, Police and eyewitnesses told.
The bus driver fled from the scene following the incident whereas police claimed to have taken the conductor as well as the bus into their custody. It was the third consecutive fatal incident in February 2017, on Thursday 4 people including 3 female students of Federal Urdu University (Science Campus) were killed and 5 others injured when a speeding passenger coach overturned at a bus stop near Bait-ul-Mukarram Masque in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
