Thailand to auction 120,000 tonnes of rubber

Thailand, the world's biggest producer and exporter of rubber, will auction about 120,000 tonnes of rubber from state stockpiles on March 7, an official at the Thai Rubber Authority told Reuters. "We will hold the last state auction for about 120,000 tonnes of rubber on March 7," the official said. The government sold 194,000 tonnes in two auctions held in January and February this year.
