Chairman Pakistan Chemicals and Dyers Merchants Association (PCDMA), Nasiruddin Fateh Kukda has urged the Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to provide the same level playing field to commercial and industrial importers. He said the commercial importers paying 3 percent value addition tax and alleged that industrial importers take advantage of exemption of this tax and import extra raw material then requirement.
Speaking at a reception hosted by president PCDMA Lahore region Nasir Naseer, he expressed concern over issuance of audit notices to commercial importers and demanded its withdrawal without any delay. He said that the association will agitate issues of commercial imports on all forums to get them resolves at earliest.
