Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday approved his party's office-bearers for Sukkur Division and its districts with immediate effect. As per details issued by PPP media cell, the chairman has notified Muhammad Anwar Mahar as president, Syed Bachal Shah, general secretary while Abdul Bari Pitafi as information secretary for the Sukkur Division.
For District Sukkur, Syed Javaid Ali Shah named as president Syed Owais Shah as general secretary while Liaquat Khalidi has been nominated as information secretary
Likewise, for Sukkur City, Mushtaq Surhio has been nominated as president, Arshad Mughal as general secretary and Choudhry Azhar as information secretary
For District Ghotki chapter, Syed Abdul Lateef Shah has been nominated as president, Ikramullah Dharejo as general secretary while Rafique Mangi would work for the party as information secretary.
The Chairman nominated Sajid Bhabhan as president, Shiraz Rajpar as general secretary while Ali Sher Makwol as information secretary for the District Khairpur.
A notification in this regard has been issued from the Chairman by his Political Secretary Jameel Soomro on Thursday.
Meanwhile, in a statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the arrests of Kashmir leaders Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and Yasin Malik at the hands of occupying Indian forces in the held-Kashmir and demanded their immediate release.
The PPP Chairman said that APHC leaders were waging peaceful struggle for their inalienable rights to self-determination. He said arrests, torture and martyrdoms cannot stop them from pursuing their goal of independence from Indian yoke.
He expressed complete solidarity with the APHC leadership and the people of held-Kashmir assuring them all out moral and diplomatic support on behalf the people of Pakistan and the PPP.
