Faysal Bank has come to extend its assistance to Friends of Burns Centre (FBC) to replace the old lift with the new one. Owing to generous gesture and support of Faysal Bank, installation of new lift has been completed and formally inaugurated by Nauman Ansari, President and CEO of Faysal Bank on Friday. Zahid Saeed, president FBC; Abdullah Feroz, founder president and other philanthropists also attended the inauguration ceremony.
The Burns Centre was established at Civil Hospital Karachi in 2004 by an NGO namely Friends of Burns Center-Patient Welfare Society, in collaboration with Health Department, Government of Sindh as a model project of Public-Private Partnership. The mission of FBC is to act as a model, international standard state-of-the-art, Burns Center, dedicated to the prevention, free treatment and care and treatment of poor and the needy burns victims/patients.
