After Honda and Toyota, FAW raises auto prices in Pakistan
Joining the bandwagon of Toyota and Honda, Al Haj FAW motors has become the latest automobile manufacturer in Pakistan to raise it prices after the devaluation of Pakistani rupee against dollar.
As per media reports, the rise comes due to weaker position of rupee against the greenback, meanwhile, the company is expected to may raise prices further. Many automobile companies have hiked the rates of their vehicles ever since the Pakistani rupee has devalued.
Here is the new price list of FAW vehicles:
Just weeks ago, Honda Atlas Pakistan jacked up prices by up to Rs100,000. “Owing to negative exchange rate impacts, Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited is compelled to increase the prices of Honda cars with effect from October 22 2018,” read a circular issued by Atlas Honda.
As per the circular, October and November delivery orders with partial payments will be delivered on November-December prices, after the payment completion. Whereas, the Indus Motor Company, also hiked prices due to similar reasons, earlier, the automaker stopped taking orders for cars.
