President Pakistan Peoples Party, central Punjab, Qamar Zaman Kaira has said PPP was consulting mainstream opposition parties for anti-government movement. "We have launched a movement against the prime minister and invited everyone to join us," he added. He said the prime minister has lost moral and legal justification to stay in the office of prime minister. Removal of the PML-N government is writing on the wall, he added.
He said a judicial verdict against prime minister is in place and a full verdict would be announced soon. He said the premiers had resigned after Panama Papers scandal but the prime minister of Pakistan was adamant to stay. He criticised the PML-N government for its dismal performance during the last four years and added development cannot be attributed to the construction of a few bridges. He said the government has failed in providing education, health and employment.
