At least three people were killed and several others injured in separate incidents of violence here on Sunday. Police said that two armed motorcyclists stopped a coaster near Hassan Square and tried to snatch cash and mobile phone from the owner. Upon resistance, the culprits opened straight fire killing coaster owner Abdul Rehman while the driver narrowly escaped in the firing.
In Nagi Goth area of Manghopir, a rickshaw driver, Hizbullah, 25, allegedly stabbed to death his elder brother Muzaffar, 30, a school teacher with sharp edged weapons, over personal grudge and fled away. A robber identified as Sajid tortured to death by enraged citizens after they held during a robbery attempt in Orangi Town. More than a dozen people were injured in various incidents of violence across the metropolis.
