Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has demanded that state minister Abid Sher Ali and water and power minister Khawaja Asif to tender their resignations over inefficient policies and failure to end power outages in Ramazan. While addressing a press conference in MQM Pakistan's makeshift headquarters in Bahadurabad, Faisal Sabzwari and opposition leader in provincial assembly Khawaja Izharul Hassan criticised K-Electric and the federal government over power crisis in Karachi.
Sabzwari said that it has nearly become impossible for the locals to fast as there is no power, neither at Sehr nor at Iftar, let alone the rest of the day. Khawaja Izharul Hassan claimed that employees of K-Electric have put their afterlife in jeopardy over irking people in the month of Ramazan.
