The chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan termed the Nehal Hashmi's threatening statement to JIT and SC; the culture of PML-N political culture. "Hashmi's embarrassing threats to judiciary is part of N-League politics and them always tries to frighten or buy the person to get their interests," he said in his unnerved reaction. He said people did not forget the phone call by Nawaz Sahrif family to Justice Qayyum in which he was directed 'what should be the decision.' "PML-N has threaten NAB when they felt NAB is going to make transparent decision," he said adding that the culture of threats and buying conscience of others.
In the video, the senator Nehal Hashmi had warned that those conducting the investigation will be "taken to task" for grilling the premier's family. Threatening public servants, the PML-N lawmaker went on to say: "You are on duty today but tomorrow you will retire. We will [then] make life miserable for your family in Pakistan."
