Punjab to bear expenses of Fajar Noor's treatment

Provincial Minister for Schools Education Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan has said that Punjab government will bear all the expenses of Fajar Noor's treatment in the hospital. He said this while talking to the media in Ghurki Hospital where he went to inquire after the 9th class student of Shahdara School who was subjected to torture by her teachers few days ago.
He said that it's the issue of children's rights, adding that Chief Minister's Inspection Team is also looking into the matter to ensure that no such incident could occur in future. He further said that the government will not rest till the logical conclusion of the case and the accused taken to task. He further said that Schools Education Department took a prompt action; it has suspended those responsible and also lodged an FIR against them. Secretary Schools Education Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik has visited twice to inquire after the student subjected to corporal punishment.
