Panic gripped among the citizens, particularly commuters, locals and workers as fire broke out in Accountant General's (AG) building here on Tuesday. However, rescuers extinguished the fire after taking control of the site. Police officials said no causality was reported. According to rescuers, the incident was occurred due to short circuit. They said that some employees of the AG office went to the upper storey soon after the incident to save their lives.
