Illegal housing schemes: LDA destroys infrastructure

The Estate Management Private Housing Sector Directorate of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) destroyed infrastructure including boundary walls, roads and sewerage system of seven illegal private housing schemes in Tehsil Shahkot of district Nankana Sahib the other day.
The affected illegal housing schemes included Soofi town, Madina park, Shah Bokhari town, Siddiq Sadiq town, Owasia colony, Madina garden and Abdullah garden. It may be added that LDA is responsible for new planned development in Lahore division and it also regulates and issues permits for new construction and housing projects, private houses, and commercial development.
