The Lahore High Court held in camera proceedings in a habeas corpus seeking recovery of a lawyer's wife Ayesha and her son, and adjourned the hearing to July 12. Ms Zareena Bibi, mother of Ayesha, approached the LHC for recovery of her daughter and grandson. The petitioner's counsel, Barrister Usama, submitted that the petitioner's daughter married Maqsood Buttar advocate and a baby was also born to them during the marriage.
He said Ayesha often talked about irreconcilable differences with her husband. He said the petitioner had also approached the police but it failed to recover Ayesha and her son so far.
