Ban imposed on earth digging during monsoon

The district administration has imposed ban on earth digging for the construction of buildings in order to avoid any untoward incident during monsoon season. According to the letter issued in this regard by the Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani, the FDA, Housing Department, Municipal Corporation, District Council and Municipal Committees have been asked that digging for the construction of the buildings should not be allowed in their respective areas of jurisdiction till the end of monsoon.
Moreover, Building Inspectors and other staff had been asked to remain vigilant on such happening, in case of any incident the concerned officers/officials would be held responsible and proceeded against under law.
