Awami National Party senior leader, MNA Ghulam Ahmad Bilour termed the immediate demand of PM's resignation after JIT report, an agenda of Imran Khan to win voters' sympathies. He further said that they should wait for the Supreme Court order in Panama Leaks case. Bilour said ANP is against the demand of Nawaz Sharif resignation as prime minister in the backdrop of the Joint Investigation Team report in Panama Leaks case. He said instead of doing politics, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is promoting his personal agenda to win sympathy of voters. Imran will not be able to succeed in his designs through blame game, he said.
He was addressing a gathering of party workers at Peshawar City Town on Sunday. The ANP provincial leader, activists and workers were present in a large number. The workers wore traditional red-colour cap, and raised slogan in favour of their leaders. Bilour has expressed concern over delay in implementation of the proposed reforms agenda in Federally Administered Tribal Areas. He asked the federal government to merge the tribal areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so that Fata people could get rights like residents of settled areas.
ANP leader said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had initiated the process of merging Fata with KP. Now he should complete the process, he said. He also criticised KP government and said that provincial government is facing a financial, political and constitutional crisis. He added it was badly failed to fulfil its promises made with people of the province. He said the indifferent attitude of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has increased agonies of general public.
He further deplored the performance of the PTI government in the province, saying that people of the province have fed up with PTI government as it has failed to fulfil its commitments. Mr Bilour said PTI Chairman has no interest in seeking solution to the problems faced by people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the PTI government has pushed the province towards financial crisis. He said incumbent provincial government failed to bring true change and to protect the rights of the masses in its ruling province.
