Advisor to Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) KP chapter president, Engr Amir Muqam has said that conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the country would be foiled with public support. "Anti-state and anti-CPEC forces cannot succeed in their nefarious agenda," he said speaking at a public gathering after inauguration of 5-kms gas supply pipeline in Bazid Khel on Sunday.
He also announced a number of electricity and gas projects for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly's constituency PK-4. PML-N leaders Nasir Khan Musazai, Raees Khan Achar, Haji Sifatullah, Raham Dilnawaz and other local leaders were also present.
Amir Muqam appealed to the apex court to take notice of the KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak's statement that if the supreme could not disqualify Nawaz Sharif, he would allow corruption in the province. Amir Muqam corruption was at its peak in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He said there was much difference between using a bat in cricket and running the affairs of country.
"Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is indispensable for peace, stability, prosperity and development across Pakistan," he said, adding that conspiracies are being hatched by anti-CPEC and anti-democratic forces to destabilize the country, but they would fail.
He said Nawaz Sharif case was not against any individual or against his personnel interest because Nawaz was fighting against those anti-state forces who couldn't digest the ongoing progress and development in the country. He said nation is committed to foil all kind of conspiracies against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
PML-N leader accused Imran Khan of carrying out activities that are deleterious for Pakistan. He said that PML-N led federal government had taken practical steps to bring foreign investment back to the country.
He criticized the PTI-led KP government saying it had miserably failed to fulfill its commitment. He said the change was not seen anywhere in the province. He said the provincial government had made tall claims about bringing reforms in health and education sector but failed to do so.
"Concerned authorities issued notification for closure of more than 30 primary schools in the province, depriving a large number of students of education," he said, adding that recent torrential rains in different parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also exposed the performance of the provincial government.
