The Kissan Board Pakistan (KBP) has launched a movement by staging sit-in demonstration in front of sugar mills to ensure payments to the sugarcane growers and acceptance of its other demands. KBP Central President Ch Nisar Ahmad and Punjab President Chaudhry Shaukat Ali addressed the sit-in staged on Monday in front of Pattoki Sugar Mills and Jhang DC office and said the protest was the starting point of a province-wide movement.
