PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chapter has decided to celebrate the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan in a befitting manner and has directed all divisional presidents for organising Jashn-e-Azadi functions in their respective divisional headquarters. The provincial president, PPP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mohammad Hamayun Khan has said that the party will celebrate the 70th Independence Day of Pakistan with national spirit and enthusiasm across the province.
In his directives to all divisional, district presidents and jialas, he said that August 14 is the day to express love and affection with motherland and special prayers for the personnel of Pakistan Army and those who had sacrificed their lives for the salvation of democracy and putting the country on the track of development including Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and success of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He directed the office bearers and workers for hoisting national and PPP flags on their houses and offices. He said that PPP is struggling for the rights of the people and it is the only political party, which is waging battle for the rights of classes of the society and will continue it till end.
