A moderate intensity earthquake jolted different areas of Kalat and surroundings on Sunday but no loss was reported. According to the geological wing of PMD, tremors measuring 3.9 on Richter scale were felt in Kalat and surrounding areas. People rushed out of their houses and shops in panic reciting 'Kalma Tayyeba' and verses from the Holy Quran. However, no casualties or property losses were reported from any affected area.
