PTI challenges Sindh government's anti-NAO bill

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday challenged Sindh government's National Accountability Ordinance 1999, Repeal Bill 2017 in Sindh High Court (SHC). PTI's Sindh President Arif Alivi, MPA Khurrum Sher Zaman and Ali Zaidi reached SHC and filed separate petitions challenging Sindh's law which curbed National Accountability Bureau's (NAB) jurisdiction in the province. The petitioners pledged the court to declare new law annul by suspending it.
"Cancellation of NAB ordinance is violation of constitution whereas Sindh govt wants to hide its corruption," said PTI leaders while talking to media. Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan and Functional League have already challenged the aforementioned bill.
