Teaser out: Emraan Hashmi cons county’s education system in ‘Cheat India’
Emraan Hashmi will be soon seen in 'Cheat India', a film based on the discrepancies in the Indian education system. The first teaser of the film is out and shows Hashmi helping people in rigging entrance exams.
The actor had stated in a previous interview that the film was a first-of-its-kind for him. Its controversial tagline, ‘Nakal Mein Hi Akal Hai’, clearly points towards the rampant malpractices in the India’s education system.
The teaser reminds us of Emraan’s role in his previous release ‘Jannat’. Although that was the world of cricket match-fixing, here the cricket part is replaced by education.
'Cheat India' releases on January 25 next year, and it will clash with Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Super 30’ and Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Manikarnika’, which will also release on the same date.
Apart from 'Cheat India', Emraan has several other projects in the pipeline. He is all set to make his Netflix debut with The Bard of Blood, an eight-episode espionage thriller being produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.
