The Lahore High Court on Tuesday allowed suspended cricketer Shahzeb Hassan, who is facing trial on charges of spot fixing before an anti-corruption tribunal, to go abroad. Shahzeb had challenged the ministry's order and sought removal of his name from the Exit Control List (ECL). Director FIA Punjab Usman Anwar appeared before the court and said that investigation was started against Shahzeb on application of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He said the FIA had no objection if Shahzeb wanted to go abroad for one time only and ready to give guarantee in this regard.
