On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.378 billion and the number of lots traded was 7,922. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,003. Major business was contributed by WTI crude oil amounting to PKR 1.104 billion, followed by gold PKR 1.053 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 903.525 million, platinum PKR 178.764 million, silver PKR 101.425 million, copper PKR 21.656 million, natural gas PKR 13.008 million and Brent crude oil PKR 2.027 million.
