Pushtoon leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai is known for saying things frankly but indirectly. Speaking his mind in a recent National Assembly sitting, Achakzai tried to put his weight behind Nawaz Sharif who was disqualified by the apex court in the Panama Papers. According to him, "it is unfortunate that the will of the people has not been respected. We must decide not to allow secret agencies a role in parliament...." He has also said that Parliament must not be turned into a 'cantonment' and political parties must expel those members who meet personnel of secret agencies.
Although he has made a strong point, he has not injected a fair amount of clarity in his allegation. Doesn't he know that facts matter so does clarity of expression? Without it, people cannot judge the truth of his statement.
