Islamabad Electric Supply (IESCO) on Thursday said there will be no power load-shedding during Eid-ul-Azha holidays. According to the Spokesman, IESCO Chief Khalid Nazir issued instructions to all concerns to ensure smooth and uninterrupted power supply during Eid days. Special task forces have been constituted in all circles and in head office to monitor the situation.
Raja Asghar, Operation Director IESCO, and all Chief Engineers will remain available in case of any emergency. Extra transformers, meters and cables have been provided to field offices. IESCO Chief Khalid Nazir passed clear instruction that electricity complaint if any during Eid days may be handled on priority basis and mishandling will not be tolerated.
IESCO Spokesman requested to valued customers not tie up animals with electricity polls or under transformers to avoid any unpleasant incident. In case of any compliant regarding electric failure please call IESCO help line 118.
