Faisal Mir, the PPP candidate in NA-120, presented flowers to the voters during his door-to-door campaign on Tuesday. He also presented pamphlets to the voters, street vendors and shopkeepers with a request of considering him for their vote on September 17. Faisal also lodged a complaint against the PML-N leadership for indiscriminate firing outside his election office.
Meanwhile, President PPP Women Wing Samina Khalid Ghurki, along with female members, visited the camp office of PPP and joined Faisal Mir in his campaign. They called on female voters of the constituency and persuaded them for voting in favor of PPP's candidate.
However, the PPP sources are clueless about the visit of Bilawal Bhutto or Asif Zardari to the constituency. Zardari had announced of visiting NA-120 along with Bilawal Bhutto in his interaction with party workers from the constituency before Eid.
But none of the party workers have a clear idea whether Bilawal or Zardari would be able to return to the city ahead of elections. They had also opposed the idea of brining Bilawal to the constituency, saying a defeat of PPP's candidate despite Bilawal's visit would send across a negative message to the PPP voters in country. They said Bilawal should focus on his public meeting in Sahiwal than visiting NA-120.
