Board of Members of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) has approved the Budget 2017-18 Non Development Rs 6,888 million and Development Rs 1,899 million. The 60th BOM meeting was held at TEVTA secretariat which was presided over by Chairman TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh, whereas other members of BOM Secretary Industries Mujtaba Paracha, Sajida Haider Vandal, Khurram Ismail, and Nilofar Sikandar were also present.
The BOM also approved start of classes of first technical university of country at Government Emerging Technologies College Township; however Rs 100 million were also allocated for this purpose. Meanwhile, a purpose built state of the art campus of university will also be established at Government Technical College Raiwind Road Lahore.
