Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on Wednesday passed unanimous resolution condemning the persecution and ruthless killing of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. Through the resolution moved by Provincial Minister for Finance, Muzaffar Said Advocate, the House expressed solidarity with the Muslims of Myanmar and asked United Nation to take steps to stop killing of innocent families.
He said that fleeing of Rohingyas to Bangladesh fearing their lives is matter of concern for the world community adding the crises can also jeopardize the world peace. He also demanded OIC and United Nations to call a session and help out Rohingyas from their miseries. Supporting the resolution, PTI MPA Shoukat Yousafzai demanded that Aung San Suu Ky should be stripped off her award and all the Muslim countries should play a role in resolving problems of Rohingyas. The resolution was put to vote and the House adopted it unanimously.
