On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.176 billion and the number of lots traded was 9,424. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,987. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.010 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.263 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 517.471 million, silver PKR 265.263 million, platinum PKR 73.179 million, copper PKR 20.121 million, natural gas PKR 18.769 million and Brent crude oil PKR 7.567 million.
