At least five people including women and children died and eight injured in collision between passenger coach and tractor trolley here on Sunday. Police said that an over speeding passenger collided with a reckless driven tractor trolley in Akhtarabad area. Three women among four people died on the spot in the accident while nine others were injured. One injured later expired in the hospital.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for medico-legal formalities where condition of some wounded people was stated to be serious. The police impounded both vehicles and after registering a case of the incident, started an investigation. Meanwhile one person died and two others were injured in collision between two over speeding motorcycles in Chaghai on Sunday.
Police said that two over speeding motorcycles while trying to overtake each other, collided near Nushki station in Chaghai. One motorcycle rider died on the spot in the accident while two others were seriously injured and rushed to hospital for treatment.
