Provincial president, PPP, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engineer Mohammad Hamayun Khan has said that conspirators behind malicious propaganda against former President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari will not succeed. Talking to party leaders and media here at his residence on Sunday, he strongly condemned baseless allegations against Asif Ali Zardari. He asked Pervez Musharraf to shun cowardice, show courage and face courts.
He said that PPP KP chapter will foil all kinds of propaganda and conspiracies against their leader. The PPP stalwart said that if Pervez Musharraf had the knowledge, then why was he silent for such long period of time. He said that political opponents incarcerated Asif Ali Zardari for 12 long years and he was behind bars despite that the then rulers could not prove allegations levelled against him and the judiciary acquitted him of all the charges.
He said that Asif Zardari has been proved innocent and Pervez Musharraf was against the home coming of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and did all he could to frighten her and bar her from returning home. The PPP provincial president said that Bhutto family had sacrificed their lives for the country and nation and fought a long battle for the continuity of democracy. The unprecedented sacrifices rendered by PPP workers could not be forgotten. Criticising the performance of PTI led provincial government, he said the employees of all organisations including teachers are on the streets and struggling for the protection of their jobs and rights.
