FAISALABAD: Precious raw material was gutted when fire erupted in a chipboard factory in the limits of Millat Town police station here on Thursday.
According to SHO Millat Town, Ayub Sahi,fire erupted in a chip board factory situated at Bhagay Wala Road near Mannanwala around 8:00 am.
The fire engulfed entire surroundings and burnt precious material present in the factory.The roof of four rooms also caved in due to fire.
Six fire fighters of Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control after hectic efforts.
However,three laborers sustained minor injuries in the incident.
The cause of fire was yet to be determined.
