The profit after tax of Shield Corporation Limited has increased to Rs 48.612 million in the year ended June 30, 2017 (FY17) as compared to Rs 46.843 million earned in FY16. The company's earning per share of the company increased to Rs 12.46 in the period under review against Rs 12.01 in the same period a year back.
The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Friday recommended final cash dividend for the year at Rs 5.00 per share ie 50 percent. According to the financial results sent to Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company's net sales increased to Rs 1.662 billion in FY17 as compared to Rs 1.548 billion in FY16 while cost of sales stood at Rs 1.089 billion against Rs 1.041 billion. The company's profit before tax increased to Rs 85.927 million in FY17 against Rs 67.691 million in FY16.
