Qureshi for understanding philosophy of Imam Hussain's martyrdom

Central leader Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Saturday that there was a need to understand the philosophy of martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS). Addressing the 39th Hussainia Conference, he said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) embraced martyrdom and did not accept designs of evil forces.
Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) gave a lesson of standing against tyranny, he added. He lauded the spirit of unity among people hailing from different sects at the conference. He also prayed may Allah keep Muslims safe and secure from evil designs of enemies. On this occasion, Ulema from different schools of thought were also present.
