Chief Minister of Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has appreciated the performance of provincial cabinet committee on law and order, police, administration as well as law enforcement agencies for making foolproof security arrangements for the protection of life and property of the people and 'Majalis' and mourning processions on Ashura. He expressed deep sense of satisfaction over the security arrangements made for maintaining peace on Yum-e-Ashur and said that members of the cabinet committee have made best security arrangements to protect the life and property of the people.
He said, "The Yum-e-Ashur remained peaceful and for that I congratulate the cabinet committee and other institutions besides elected representatives, members of the local bodies as well as administration have proactively worked for the safety of life and property of the people."
The Chief Minister said that he is thankful to all the line departments and the concerned persons for a peaceful Yum-e-Ashur. He said the same passion, hard work and commitment are required in future to maintain peace as well and the country will be made a haven of peace by following unity, harmony and coherence.
