On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.751 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,843. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,969.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.728 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 889.137 million, WTI crude oil PKR 650.393 million, platinum PKR 327.155 million, silver PKR 96.445 million, copper PKR 37.817 million, natural gas PKR 18.521 million and Brent crude oil PKR 3.817 million.
