The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) is organizing the 5th FPCCI achievement awards 2016 to recognize the outstanding achievements of individuals and firms for enhancing the insignia of Pakistan. The aim is to encourage and promote new ideas, people, talents, creative plans, innovative methods to replace the old and obsolete systems and infrastructure with ambitions for a better future.
The people of Pakistan are competing in the international market, despite various challenges like educational and health backwardness and poor infrastructure and I commend them on this achievement. On this occasion, I also applaud the role of FPCCI in promoting technology, export, economic growth and assisting traders and industrialist in addressing the new challenges being faced in the sphere of international market.
Export and investment led growth policies are vital for competitiveness, diversification and value addition. I believe this event will open new vistas of opportunities and showcase new avenues that will lead the nation to accelerated path of industrial progress. In this era of globalization and economic integration, the socio-economic development of the society and country as a whole is amongst one of the top most priorities of the Government and FPCCI and we ensure mutual cooperation to achieve this global.
I am confident that this event will greatly help in promoting true image and highlighting real potential of Pakistan. I congratulate all awardees for their dedicated efforts which are highly admirable and it is my conviction that our people will perform better in future too for the accelerated progress of Pakistan's economy which is the need of the time.
