Foundation University Islamabad Campus (FUIC) organized its Annual Day on Friday. Major General Khadim Hussain(retd), HI(M), Rector Foundation University Islamabad, was the chief guest while Major General Dr Akhtar Waheed (retd), HI(M), Director Foundation University Islamabad Campus, was also present, says a press release issued here.
The chief guest distributed gold medals, silver medals, distinction certificates and merit certificates among the students of MBBS and BDS on their respective academic achievements. He also distributed the prizes among winners of various co-curricular activities.
While addressing the audience, Major General Khadim Hussain (retd), HI (M), said that the FUIC has reached several milestones of development and today it stands out as a distinguished medical institution of the country. "The well-designed purpose-built campus is located in the proximity of 820-bed teaching hospital which provides a student-friendly atmosphere highly conducive for learning," he said. -PR
