15th AKU Inter University Football Tournament begins

The inaugural of the 15th Aga Khan University (AKU) Inter-University Football Tournament was held at the AKU Sports Centre Ground. Dr Ahmad Burq Maqsood, Senior Lecturer/Consultant Ophthalmologist, Department of Surgery, AKU along with Zeeshan Hashmi, Chairman Organizing Committee & Senior Manager, Administrative Services, AKU and Muhammad Saeed, Secretary, Sindh Football Referees Association inaugurated the Tournament.
The teams and the officials were introduced to the chief guest who later kicked the ball and officially inaugurated the tournament. The inaugural match was played between Aga Khan University and DHA Suffa University which was won by host AKU by 9-1 goals. -PR
