The profit after tax of Fatima Fertilizer Company has increased to Rs 6.674 billion in the nine-month period ended September 30, 2017 as compared to Rs 6.370 billion earned in the corresponding period in 2016. The board of directors of the company in its meeting declared that the company's earning per share stood at Rs 3.18 in the period under review against Rs 3.03 in the same period last year.
According to the financial results, the company's sales increased to Rs 26.078 billion in this period against Rs 22.908 billion in the same period last year while the cost of sales increased to Rs 12.528 billion against Rs 10.942 billion. The company's profit before taxation stood at Rs 8.228 billion in this period against Rs 7.554 billion in the same period last year.
On quarterly basis, the company's profit after tax stood at Rs 2.383 billion with earning per share of Rs 1.13 in the three month period ended September 30, 2017 as compared to PAT of Rs 3.395 billion with EPS of Rs 1.62 in the same period in 2016.
