President, Mohmand Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Qaiser Khan Daudzai has termed the release of the refund payment order a good step for strengthening the national economy. In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said that besides, simplification of matters for business community will also increase foreign reserves of the country.
He said that Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for last several years was used to pay refunds to the tune of billions of rupees to exporters, which was never given any attention. He said that due to non-payment of refunds, the business community was facing severe hardships in running of their day-to-day affairs and they were used to obtain expensive credits from commercial banks, which beside increase cost of production was also wasting the their precious time.
