For the uplift of the provincial capital, the Lahore city government has planned 75 development schemes under the sustainable development goals (SDGs) for FY2017-18, of which Rs 136.69 million have been released for 62 approved schemes. This was disclosed in a meeting held here on Tuesday to review the development work in the provincial metropolis. Deputy Commissioner Lahore Sameer Ahmed Syed chaired the meeting.
While giving a briefing to the meeting, Deputy Director Development Musadiq Watto said that among the development schemes include 43 for water supply, 16 for urban development, five for roads, four for school education, three for local government and community development and two for irrigation.
