Religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil met former Prime Minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif at his Raiwind residence on Thursday and discussed matters of mutual interest. Sources claim that Maulana Tariq Jamil enquired about the health of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz undergoing cancer treatment in London. He also offered prayers for her recovery. Maulana also prayed for the well being of Sharif family, the sources said. Maulana Tariq Jamil also invited Nawaz Sharif to attend Raiwind congregation, the sources said, adding: "Nawaz accepted the invitation and may join the congregation on Sunday."
