KP Inspector General of Police (IGP), Salahuddin Khan visited Police School of Public Disorder and Riot Management at Mardan on Wednesday. The IGP after attending a briefing at school visited different sections of the school and inspected the ongoing academic activities and the training being imparted to the jawans.
The IGP also witnessed the practical demonstration of dispersing the mob of under training trainees. It may be recalled that so far more than 3000 police officers and jawans had been trained in the school which also included 150 DSPs. In the school police officers and jawans are being trained in mob psychology, negotiation skills and special needs of the vulnerable groups.
