Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Dr Farooq Sattar has demanded the government on Saturday to give financial compensation to the 'victims' who built buildings using their savings, on plots that turned out to be scams by land-grabbing mafia.
Dr Sattar addressed a press conference in Hyderabad today and said that the mafia backing 'China-cutting' and scams relating to plots and residential facilities should be brought to justice. The party chief claimed of organising a historic rally in Hyderabad on December 8. He expressed concerns over questions regarding performance of MQM-P at local bodies' level and asserted that the elected representatives are working in the best interest of the people.
While responding to a question about Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), he said that the politicians belonging to MQM-P who wish to join PSP can, as nothing is stopping them. Dr Sattar further said that MQM-P is ready to contest General Elections, be it this year or in 2018, the party is all prepared and is confident.
