Much to the embarrassment of Indian army and police and other authorities present, the cricket team and spectators who had turned up at a cricket match held in a government stadium in Indian-occupied Kashmir's central district of Budgam on Sunday chanted pro-Pakistan and pro-freedom slogans. A section of the crowd at the Indian army-sponsored match held in Budgam stadium began chanting pro-Pakistan slogans and also those in favour of freedom towards the end the match.
