LESCO gears up for safety measures campaign

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has geared up its campaign for adopting safety measures and a seminar was organized in this regard. Large number of field staff attended the seminar on Tuesday. It may be noted that the LESCO is in the process of organizing awareness seminars in different areas of the region to apprise them of latest safety measures. The linemen and other staff members were briefed about the steps taken by the company for safety of employees, particularly those working in the field.
The trainers urged the participants to adopt these measures. They were strictly instructed to use helmet, gloves and belt when exposed to any electricity wires or poles. It is worth noting that the government has launched a revival plan of all the DISCOs in order to ensure smooth power supplies to the consumers.
