The third edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will get underway from February 22, 2018 with the opening encounter between defending champion Peshawar Zalmi and new entrants Multan Sultans in Dubai International Stadium. The official schedule of PSL-III was announced by PCB on Thursday. As per schedule, the final of Pakistan Super League 2018 will be played in Karachi on March 25.
"PSL-III will kick start with a glittering opening ceremony at the Dubai International Stadium followed by a star-studded Peshawar Zalmi taking on league debutants Multan Sultans, on 22nd Feb," said PCB spokesman.
"Teams will play twice against each other before the top four teams qualify for the play-off stage. Fans will get a chance to see their favourite stars in a total of 34 games played across four venues," the spokesman added. As per schedule, 12 matches will be staged in Dubai, 9 in Sharjah, two semi finals in Lahore and final will be played in Karachi.
