Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto will address a public rally in Multan on December 15. Secretary Information PPP, South Punjab, Shaukat Basra said that Bilawal would lead a public protest from Multan against the Sharif family.
He said the PPP would launch a protest against the government which will be extended to the whole province. He said South Punjab has been a stronghold of PPP since the time of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. People of South Punjab would not disappoint Bilawal, he added.
He said the days of rulers have been numbered and the PPP would spearhead protest against it. He told that the PPP South Punjab leadership has been holding marathon meetings throughout to muster support in favour of the party. Both Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood and Yusuf Raza Gilani have worked hard to appease the angry party workers and many of them have rejoined the party fold, he added. Political circles are terming the December 15 public rally of the PPP very important, saying that both the PTI and PML-N would also hold public rallies after PPP in South Punjab.
